This song is for TK, my very good friend. It was inspired by the poem she made for me when she came back that first time, after that weird scratcher asked to be her boyfriend. When she came back forever parentally banned from commenting. That was when we really realized our friendship. We've been through so, so much, and with each other we felt like we could climb mountains no matter through the gale we would have to trek. Tk being wrongfully hunted down and banned broke me to pieces, especially without me being able to say good-bye. She managed to come back, once, in a new account, and posted two comments on my profile. In her moment of distress, when she was fighting for scratch, she told me to keep fighting the bullies, that the scratch team needed me, and some other personal things. By the time I came on, she was gone...I probably would have left scratch if it hadn't been for @theperytonwhisperer and @AllenwalkerdD , who comforted me and encouraged me. They have helped me many times before and since. I must thank you both for so, so much. Thank you. But the wound of Tk's leaving has caused me much sorrow, and I had to sing this song from the heart. I hope, if she ever can come back, she can view this project.... This is 9 mins and 20 secs. You might want to keep volume high. Here are the lyrics, I guess: When darkness weighed down on my every step, Everything was lost and I didn't know where to go yet, I was hopeless and wandering, looking for joy. And then I met you, you. Do you remember, the songs we used to sing? Do you remember, the happy liberty? Do you remember, those games we played? Those songs we we sang? Do you remember, remember? You brought some joy into my life. You smile wiped away that strife. And then I realized the true meaning of a friend When I met you. Met you. I thought there was no hope. But you lifted me up, You put my feet on land, Out from the sinking sand. Why'd you have to go? You left me in the snow. Gone now, that I know. But why did they have to, Take me away from you? You. Do you remember, those times we argued? Do you remember, those games we played? Do you remember, those songs we sang? Those times we talked, at midnight? Do you remember, those games we played? Do you remember, those songs we sang? Do you remember, me at all? We were bound together as friends, Nothing could separate us to no end. We were together, Through any weather. We were friends. Friends, friends. You helped me and I helped you, We struggled through but we helped each other. We were together. We were together. Why did they have to take me from you? Why did you have to leave me? I'm sitting alone in this mess. I'm lost without your smile, your smile. You see, you told me that you'd always be there. And I told you one day we'd breathe the same air (That we'd meet irl). And you told me: When Starlight drops, And pins it down with a star, You always know you have a friend, though she may wander far. And you said, When Starlight drops, And pins it down with a star, You know you have a friend, though she may wander far. And I've seen that twinkle up above, you see, 'Cause there never was a friendship so deep, Like you and me. When Starlight drops, And pins it down with a star, You always know you have a friend, though she may wander far. Is that true? Do you remember those games we used to play? Those songs we used to sing? Do you remember when we talked at midnight? Do you remember, Those times when we were crying, Just to lean on each other's shoulders? Do you remember, when I was broken? Do you remember, when you were hopeless? Do you remember that time we realized we were friends? We were friends. And I said we'd be together in any weather. And you said you'd never leave me no matter what happened. And I said I'll stay next to you forever. And you said: When Starlight drops, And pins it down with a star, You know you have a friend, though she may wander far. And at that time you were talking about me, As I traveled around, accomplishing my dreams. And now the tides have turned, you see, They had to take you away from me. (No!!!!) And last night I saw that star... When Starlight drops, And pins it down with a star, You know you have a friend, though she may wander far. You know you have a friend, though she may wander far. I'll never forget you no matter where you are. Do you remember, that time when we talked at midnight? Do you remember, when we found we were friends forever? Do you remember what we used to do together? Do you remember? When Starlight drops, And pins it down with a star, You know you have a friend, though she may wander far. And no matter how old you are when you come back, I'll be waiting for you. Be waiting for you. When Starlight drops, And pins it down with a star, You know you have a friend, though she may wander far. And I've seen that star and I know it's true. You're my friend, and I'm still waiting for you.
I sang this song straight from the heart. I listened to the song again and typed out the lyrics. Tk meant so, so much to me. I shall never forget her, ever. ;-;
