THE NERD HERD! Bio: Name: Emma Gender: Female Species: Fennec Fox Age: 13 Personality: Smart, trusting, lonely, friendly, quiet, respectful, responsible, and all of the above Back story: Emma was no ordinary Fennec Fox, she was smart, and that's what made her such an outcast. All the other foxes have wings, unlike her, they get to be high above her, bulling her. She never had one single friend. Everybody in Emma's family had wings, so she was confused from where she got this gene from. The world will never know. Her species doesn't have a school, so her knowledge is coming to waste. Her family doesn't support her, or love her. This lonely fox has no siblings to understand her, for she is an only child. The only thing that comforts her is music. She dances, sings, and plays with the music. The only thing is, Emma's family hates everything that she likes/loves.So, she has to go to the forest behind her house, every single day, to have the most of fun. She has a secret place where no other knows about. Emma's Cove. It's basically a cave, with gems in it, sometimes diamonds, but this little fox is not greedy like the rest of her flock. Once she gets all settled in, she turns on the radio in side the cave, and goes deep in her mind. Thinking about nothing, until she falls asleep. Em's (a nickname of hers) worst fear, is someone coming in and disturbing her, or worse, punishing her for being in the cave. Especially her worst enemy, Ava. And so this nightmare of hers, came true. Ava has a flock, but this time, she was alone. I was almost asleep, when I heard a crash in the front of the cave. "Ugh, why again!" I knew that was Ava's voice. I wanted to escape, but there was only one exit, and her worst enemy was blocking it. I heard her say, "Oooh, this looks interesting, gems! Diamonds! I want to explore! Wait, what is that sound?" Oh, no. I thought. I hear her foot steps get closer to me, and I wish I had the power to be invisible. She came so close, I could see her shadow. I was sweating! "Emma, is that you? If it is, I will hurt you! You don't belong here, outcast!" That made me feel sick. Now she was right by me. She aimed for my face, but I ducked. "Fine," she broke the silence,"I bet your not smart enough to answer this riddle!" "Ok, but don't ever come here again!" I answered shakily. "Ok......" "In a contest, four fruits (an apple, a banana, an orange, and a pear) have been placed in four closed boxes (one fruit per box). People may guess which fruit is in which box. 123 people participate in the contest. When the boxes are opened, it turns out that 43 people have guessed none of the fruits correctly, 39 people have guessed one fruit correctly, and 31 people have guessed two fruits correctly. The Question: How many people have guessed three fruits correctly, and how many people have guessed four fruits correctly?" "Easy, It is not possible to guess only three fruits correctly: the fourth fruit is then correct too! So nobody has guessed three fruits correctly and 123-43-39-31 = 10 people have guessed four fruits correctly." I answered. "What! How! I barely even remembered the question! Ugh, you are free to go, only this on time I will let you go easily!" I didn't say anything and went running off. That was the only time that something happened in life that was fun, and the time I used my smartness. But life is sad for me, because I'm an outcast. But, inside, I'm not.
