"Um. Get off my tail," mewed Rainheart. Jagpaw looked up. "Sorry." The brown and white warrior nodded, eyes keen on prey. They padded near the border and scents wafted into her nose. Jagpaw looked to the left and saw a pink tom across the border. Rainheart drew in a sharp breath and her eyes softened. Jagpaw rolled her eyes. Not another forbidden love! Her granpa's ex learned that the hard way. Some told stories about Cherryblossom but most just tried to forget. Oh yeah that tom looked like her, too. Except for his green eyes. Jagpaw avoided Rainheart and knew she would probably want to talk to the tom. Alone. She pushed past some ferns, noticing how thick they were, and concentrated on meat sacs. There was one. A squirrel. She sneakily avoided brushing against the ferns because then she knew the meat sac would no longer be gucci. So, not wanting to interrupt her mentor's stupid forced romance for plot filler, Jagpaw killed the squirrel quietly and walked to camp. Oh, there was Flamewave. Everyone said he saved her from falling in the river but Jagpaw didn't remember. "Hi Flamewave we're gonna have kittens sometime." He backed away. "Naw, bro.
