It's one thing to delay DTA results by two months, it's another to delay AA results by half a year - I have no words to describe my apologies, except summer work, strain off of school, meticulous computer regulation, and a recent heavy fever :") Without further setback, onto the prizes and winners! REMINDER: Everyone who entered is allowed to keep their characters (even those who did not receive a place)! FIRST PLACE [of each adopt]: Fullbody of any OC they choose! AESTHETIC 1 || HIRAETH || 1st place: Fye (@yavrukedi555) https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/213210874/ What can I say? The character is beautiful, the backstory and connections to the original aesthetic detailed and very fluent, and I love both Fye's design and how her story connects to the actual theme, Hiraeth. Fye is a very promising character and I hope to see more of her in the future! 2nd place: Aeth (@breadstyx) https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/222471537/ When I looked back at this character, he seemed so well-designed and truly representative of the aesthetic. Aeth is definitely a very cool design and wish to see him again! Honorable Mentions: Toria (@OkamiTheWarrior) https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/215619153/ Toria is one of the more detailed entries, and I can see all the effort you put into her. Her backstory is even and thorough, her design pleasing to the eye, and generally a very nice character! Robbyn (@Mikilkal) https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/214375611/ I loved the layout of her clothing design, as well as her bio. Excellent work with Robbyn (and again, sorry for being late to see the project!) AESTHETIC 2 || NOSTALGIA || 1st place: Blossome () Her backstory really touched me, and I love every detail about it, especially the portion about the immortal flowers and vine, as well as the tragedy of Naomi's only friend disappearing forever. I hope you do decide to use her as a future character! 2nd place: Naomi () Naomi's overall design and patterning is simple (in the heartwarming way) and pleasing, and the kind of character I would love to draw! This is another character I would like to see drawn again! Honorable Mentions: Penelope (/) 'Aesthetically pleasing' is an understatement for this design; Penelope is an exquisite character in all the best ways, and I especially love the accents and accesories you gave her! Well done! Dove () Her design and palette were both pleasant and charming, and I loved all the little details in both her physical and bio! NOTE TO PLACE WINNERS: I can draw domestic felines (cats), a couple of the smaller wild felines (i.e. lynxes, servals, caracals, etc.), wolves, some domestic and wild dogs, and some species of foxes. I'm terrible at humans, but I can try :"). I'm a feral artist (with zero experience in anthro) so I might just feral-ize them if those are the only types of characters you have, but I'll do my best!
