[A warning??: Day 1's drawing is a heart, and though it's not very realistic (or well drawn), some people might find it gross?] ------✂------✂------✂------✂------✂------✂------ Before we begin, I'd like to take a moment to thank my fine-line pen for always being there when I need it. Except for this morning, October 1st, when I had to search the whole house to find it. Turns out my sister stole it. ------✂------✂------✂------✂------✂------✂------ D A Y S 1 Poisonous I suppose this represents poisoned relationships? 2 Tranquil A bonsai!! Some time during the month, I gotta figure out shading. And line thickness. And everything else. 3 Roasted Pretty much the reaction of anyone at school when someone's insulted. I tried shading though. 4 Spell Because I'm hilarious, I drew a spelling bee. Ha. Ha. No? 5 Chicken This one's pretty straight forward. 6 Drooling You know how people drool when they think about a food they like? Well, enchiladas are amazing. 7 Exhausted After a grand total of a week into Inktober, I'm already exhausted. This is the pen I draw with, and I guess it embodies my complete and utter tiredness? Also it's hard to draw something when the thing you're drawing is the thing you're drawing with. 8 Star Here on weren't done on time because of a spontaneous camping trip (??), but because of that camping trip and staring at the stars I decided to draw this. 9 Precious I was staring at the stack of books on my desk and I realised how much they mean to me and that's where I got this. The title's some random thing that relates to that spontaneous camping trip. 10 Flowing You know how quickly time goes when you're trying to finish that essay that's due tomorrow? Yeah, the prompt made me think of how time flows... Also, have you ever tried drawing a circle with a pen? And then drawing another, exactly the same but larger, circle around it? Don't. It will not turn out well. 11 Cruel Doesn't really need an explanation. Party poppers are cruel. 12 Whale Also doesn't need an explanation. It's a whale. 13 Guarded I had no idea what to do for this so I just went with a magical-looking sword that'd probably be guarded by some scary monster thing. Because of that spontaneous camping trip, I got behind and things built up so I didn't have a chance to finish the prompts (also I'm lazy, sooo...). Next year my goal's gonna be to actually finish and then maybe the year after I'll go for more complex drawings or something (these are so simple and tiny...). ------✂------✂------✂------✂------✂------✂------ Inktober is a yearly challenge created by Jake Parker. All you have to do is create one ink drawing for every day in October. This is my first year, so I'm not too fabulous just yet. Usually when I do art (lol never) I use a pencil, so I'm kinda shaky with my pen. So that's great. I also decided to follow the official prompt list (link below). ------✂------✂------✂------✂------✂------✂------ In the menu there's a button that takes you to some extra drawings that didn't make the final cut because they're either awful or had nothing to do with the prompt. I only put them in because I was bored and had nothing else to put in that little menu thing. So here we are. ------✂------✂------✂------✂------✂------✂------ F O N T The font in the title was made by me in vector and based off the Inktober font.
