So this is a project I made for 8th grade science class. Wow, it's really bad. Earth revolves around the sun. It always faces the same direction, which makes it tilt at different angles relative to the sun (called Sun Angles) in different parts of the year. Seasons are caused by a hemisphere tilting towards the sun. In the Northern Hemisphere, Summer happens when said hemisphere tilts toward the sun, causing more heat. Spring and Autumn happen when the Earth tilts in a way that makes it so that both hemispheres get the same amount of sunlight per day. Winter occurs when the Northern Hemisphere tilts away from the sun, causing less heat. When a hemisphere tilts towards the sun, it causes more light and heat. The higher the sun angle, the more light and heat.
