Here's what I do: 1. Upload base. 2. Convert to vector. 3. Resize if needed; if there's more than one pose in the picture, I move it so that the unwanted poses are outside of the box, convert to bitmap and boom it's magically erased. Then I repeat or convert back to vector. I also sometimes flip the image so that it's a mirror of itself, just so that it's not e x a c t l y like the base. 4. Decide if you want to use black or colored outlines. Usually, I do a mix of mostly black with colors for details that I will need to adjust later, such as hands or if I need to visualize the body under the clothes, then I recolor the lines later. 5. Draw! This can take however long you need. Sometimes I only work for 5 mins on part of a picture or I draw the body, then the details, or I try to do it all in one go. Please take a break when you get frustrated. Also, you don't have to do it in the order I did. :D I usually draw the easiest lines first, then go from there. 6. Smooth lines where needed. Adjust what needs adjusting like the neckline of a shirt or the fingers of a hand. (Because even with bases, I totally stink at hands. XD) 7. Delete base from under your traced lines and check to see your picture looks okay. If not, hit the undo button to bring the base back and fix stuff. 8. Once you're satisfied or think it looks close enough, delete the base and fill in the gaps between unfinished lines. 9. Convert to bitmap and color it in! Usually this is when I find the unfinished lines, so I fill in the whole thing with one color, fix the lines, then remove the filler, recolor the lines, then color everything in. 10. Add shading. This can be done however you like. Usually I do the shadow first and then the highlights. (Whoops, I forgot to shade the blue sleeves....) 11. Do you want a background? Go ahead and do so! It usually looks better than if you just had white space behind your drawing. 12. Are you finished? Great! Now share it with Scratch and be happy about your art! I know I'll be glad you drew something. :) All bases (see inside for them) are easily found on Google Images! Just search "Equestria Girls base" with additional phrases such as "hugging," "dazzlings," "mane six," "ms paint," "legend of everfree," or something like that. Please link back to this project if you use any of the bases I've uploaded! :) Music is Food Mart from Tomodachi Life, found here! The girl in the picture is me, yes, but I don't wear THAT much eyeliner, Lol!
