Name: Aaliyah Gender: Female Personality: Hm, this is a hard one. At one point she was a pretty playful cat. She loved to frolic and play near the pond close to her house. After her backstory which you will read bellow she became hard and lonely at times. Anything related to friendships or love was cut from her radar and she now will only sit in her owner's house and eat her daily meals. Sometimes she will bask in the moonlight and stare at it sadly with a look of regret. Backsory: As a young cat Aaliyah was playful and adventurous. As she matured she was a 'bad girl' always flirting with the guys and interested in only herself. She would sometimes think of her sister who was fun to play with. Aaliyah had a horrible sense of direction. She could get lost anywhere. One day she decided to take a walk around the city. She wandered through streets, around garbage cans, and finally, into an alley way. Now, Aaliyah lived in a prim posh house which made her want to get away from it more but her owners were so cruel as to declaw her at a young age. Because of this no one took her seriously. As she walked through the ally way he saw something move out of the corner of her eye. She turned quick, noiseless, and stared into a dark space under a dumpster. Suddenly a black figure jumped out at her hissing and screeching. It slashed her with it's claws and landed behind her breathing heavily. She turned, shocked, and realized that what had attacked her was a skinny black tom who had obviously lived on the streets for a while. "What was that for?!" she asked touching the wounds on her face. She was tough so even though the scratched hurt more then anything she kept the pain she felt in so not to be seen as a pushover house pet. "Sorry," the tom said with a shocked expression, "I thought you might be a street cat. House pets don't normally come out this far. You can't be to carful." he fidgeted his paws and his eyes rated from one side of the alley to the other. "I would like to know where I am," Aaliyah said looking around, "could you help me find my way back home? I live in the big house near Maple Street." The black tom looked up. "Oh, everyone knows where that is. I didn't think the posh humans who live there would ever let a cat live there." he said as he started to lead her down a sidewalk. "Yeah, they house us and feed us and pamper us. I hate it." "Wow! I didn't think anyone could hate that kind of treatment." "Yeah," Aaliyah said to the tom, "It gets pretty obnoxious. I mean, they are always on our backs. It's either them or my parents." she kicked a stone as they walked. The tom turned a corner and she followed. After a while of silence and walking they found her house. "Here it is." he said flatly. "Thanks a bunch! My humans would be looking for me everywhere, not like I care, but they might stop feeding me or something." she said scowling down at her clawless paws, "What is your name by the way?" "Raven, Raven of the Moon." he said with a solemn note to his voice, "You can just call me Raven." "OK," she said turning to her house, "Goodbye… Raven." she smiled and slowly walked to her front porch. She snuck one last look at Raven and slipped in her cat door. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- After a while of not seeing Raven, Aaliyah became board again. She couldn't stop thinking about his deep green eyes and obvious adventurous spirit. She knew her mother would not approve of any association with a street cat, especially romantic pursuits. She sat out on her front porch looking out at the street, maybe he would come by. She sat there every day for about a week until she made up her mind. If he wasn't going to come to her, there must be a reason. She walked the same direction she thought she had gone to get to his alley. She was so unsure. How did she know he would even be there? What would keep him from leaving? Aaliyah doubted he had any feelings for her. After a while of wondering she came across the dumpster where they had met. The same smell lingered and she looked around. After a while of looking it had seamed that he had left. Just then something grabbed her and dagger her under the dumpster. It hushed her and then she realized, it was Raven. Some paw steps outside of the dumpster followed. They looked like more strays, but tougher then Raven. He must have been hiding from them. After they walked around the alley, completely looking over the dumpster, they left and she let out a breath that she didn't know she was holding. "What are you doing here?" he whispered, "This isn't even the same alley where we met." "It isn't? Sorry I have a horrible sense of direction." Aaliyah said sniffing, "Were they after you?" "What do you think? They are a bad bunch to get tangled up with and I did." Raven looked into Aaliyah's beautiful eyes and then to his side, "Here," he tied something around her neck, "This is a bell. Whenever you get lost or just want me around, ring it. I never want you getting lost in a place like this." Aaliyah tapped it and it jingled. She giggled, "Now I feel like your pet or something, but thank you." she smiled shyly and tipped her head. *****************************TO BE CONTINUED!***************************
