Chapter is in the notes and credits but first... I said i wouldnt be writing this again but i was bored.
Duckflight outside the warriors' den, despite the snow. A few moons have passed and now Stagkit and Bramblekit were becoming apprentices. Stagkit, a tortoishell she-kit with black ears, was going to be Fishbelly's apprentice, and Fishbelly was the new deputy. Bramblekit, a gigner tabby tabby she-kit with amber eyes, was going to be Duckflight's apprentice. Duckflight had kept her kits a secret, but other cats were clearly noticing that her belly was getting bigger by day. "Let all cats gather!" Juniperstar yowled. She sounded very tired. She didn't even mew the traditional gathering announcement. "Rabbitpaw, come forward!" She yowled. Duckflight was surprised. "Do you promise to uphold to warrior code and defend the Clan, even at the cost of you life?" Juniperstar demanded. "I, um..." Rabbitpaw hesitated, and licked his chest. He'd become a bit more respectful, even a bit shy. "I do." He finally managed to say his words out loud. "Then SunClan gives you your warrior name, Rabbitblizzard." "Rabbitblizzard! Rabbitblizard! Rabbitblizzard!" the Clan called out. "We also have some kits to make apprentices. Bramblekit, from this day forward, you will be known as Bramblepaw. Your mentor will be Duckflight. Stagkit, from this day forward, you will be known as Stagpaw. Your mentor will be Ratfang." Duckflight was surprised. Wasn't Fishbelly supposed to be Stagpaw's mentor? "And we also have Sunpelt." Sunpelt had joined WaterClan officially a quarter-moon ago. "We shall not cherish your FrostClan name." Juniperstar looked angry. "I am not willing to tolerate so many FrostClan cats with their original names." Sorrelfrost, Whitecrow, and Windclaw shuffled their paws nervoudly. "That is why Sorrelfrost will be known as Sorrelspot." "But you named me Sorrelfrost!" the Sorrelfrost or Sorrelfur protested. "You are Sorrelfur, and that is final," she hissed. Sorrelfur nodded. "Sorrelfur reminds me of FrostClan too much. But Sunpelt! You willl be known as Thunderpaw until you prove yourself completly loyal." Duckflight couldn't take it. Thunderpaw was and expirienced warrior, not an apprentice! "Your mentor will be Rabbitblizzard." Duckflight hoped this was a dream. This was all so riducoulous. Newly made warriors training experienced warriors? The name Thunderpaw had nothing to do with Sunpelt, either!" Than Duckflight stood up and interrupted all the angry murmurs in the Clan. "Listen, all cats!" She yowled. Juniperstar was looking at her with interest. "What do you have to say, the 'good kit?'" Murmurs broke around the Clan about the 'good kit', and what it had to do with anything. "SILENCE!" Juniperstar yowled. The murmurs died down again. "Duckflight, speak." "Well...The reason..." she hesitated. "The reason Sunpel-I mean, Thunderpaw joined WaterClan is because...because...I'm carrying his kits." The whole Clan gasped. Only Nettleheart new about this, and he kept it a secret. Then Duckflight fell. "It's happening," she whispered. "I'm giving birth."
