All Or Nothing: Stock Trader ----------------------------------- Controls: B, S, and Space The directions for this game are fairly simple, you press "B" to buy stocks and "S" to sell them. The catch is (like the title suggests) it is all or nothing. You buy as many stocks as you can afford when "B" is pressed and you sell as many as you have when "S" is pressed. Press space to show the global high score, your personal high score, and dividends made per second. The goal is to have as much net worth as possible when the game ends. The way to make money is to buy stocks when the value is low and sell them when they are high. When you own stock you get dividends (small amounts of money from the stock), but that will not make you much. Be careful towards the end, if you buy stocks nearing the end you may not have enough time to sell them for a profit. You do not 'have' to sell them because the goal is to have a high net worth (your total of money plus stocks at current stock value) but it is a good idea because they could drop at any time and leave you at a great loss.
This project took me a very long time to make. This required a lot of different variables and I probably ended up spending more time on the variables and settings than the rest of the project. Even though the directions are fairly simple the game has a lot of variables and calculations, lucky for you though they do not matter too much for players. Make sure to tell me any bugs/suggestions, I read all comments. I was inspired to make this by the stock trader made by @Khandielas and my Personal Finance class. Coding 100% by me. Disclaimer: This is not meant to realistically simulate actual stock trading and is not accurate. (And yes I did use the same sounds/music as Khandielas but that is because I thought they fit perfectly, not because I am unoriginal lol) Song: Money - Pink Floyd
