Velvet growls as she sits up and glares at Tiny. She growls, "What?" Scarlet drops a mouse and says, "We caught a mousey!" Velvet purrs and relaxes. She says, "Well done, my sweet!" Tiny stands up and says, "I'm going to catch another one!" Velvet turns to Tiny and says, "Fine." She turns back to Scarlet. "Why don't you eat your catch?" Tiny walks away looking said and confused and she whispers, "But I caught that too!" Scarlet is blinking happy as she mews, "Thanks mommy!" Scarlet begins to eat. Tiny sniffs. A crow flaps in. Tiny crouches, and then pounces. She bites it hard and then drops it. She yells, "I caught it!" She runs back and drops the crow and says, "Mommy, I caught a birdy!" Velvet is looking the other way and she says, "Yes, yes, good job. Go ahead and eat it." Tiny looks down at her crow sadly. Tears fill her eyes as she whispers, "Why does mommy love Scarlet more than me?" Screen goes black Velvet and Tiny and Scarlet are in a cave in nests. Velvet says, "Goodnight, my kits. Have good dreams." Scarlet blinks and says, "I love you mommy." Velvet smiles and licks Scarlet on the forehead. Then she replies, "I love you too, dearest." Tiny looks at Velvet and says, "I love you mommy." Velvet lashes her tail and snaps, "I said goodnight!" Tiny coils back and whimpers. Scarlet nuzzles Tiny and says, "Don't worry, Tiny.
