OKAY THE BOOK IS NEARLY DONE! Some small illustration edits need to be made, but hopefully I can publish it......eventually. So, you don't really need to do the stuff I wrote here. Thanks to everyone who left their opinions! (If you can't read this, head to the "Help Needed" studio. It's in the description there.) YOUR INSTRUCTIONS: - Read the stuff below. - Tell me if you think Ari looks ill or if you like his color palette. - Suggest potential titles (if you want). - Oh, and maybe get your Scratch friends over here to do the same? Thank you! --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Hello, humans of the Internet! Guess what? I'm creating (and possibly widely publishing on Amazon Kindle, we'll see) another children's book! Now, the first book I ever wrote and published will be different from this one in 3 ways. 1. "The Savanna Cat" was based on Shakespeare's "The Merchant of Venice", and this new book will have a completely original story. 2. Instead of working alone and taking my time, I will be working with a friend and completing the book in 2 weeks, because... 3. SCHOOL IS MAKING ME DO IT! Yes! I have to write and illustrate a book for my English class! I know what I've said about school in the past (https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/239305107/), but so far English has just been Art this year, which is promising! So, unfortunately, because of the time limit and how much art is going into this book (13 FULLY REALIZED DRAWINGS W/ BACKGROUNDS), I won't be very active here on Scratch. Maybe I'll post something with the book's art, but I'm not available next weekend and the weekend after that is right before we have to turn the thing in, so I'll probably be busy. I'll be sure to tell you guys how it went after it's done, though! Currently the project is untitled, so I'd like some help with that. The main character is the green dragon. His name is Ari, and he's a Wassa dragon, which means he cannot breath fire, has had his wings bound to his body since hatching, and works on the dragon fruit farms for the Fwera, one of which is depicted to the right. He will train to join a competition meant for Fwera, mentored by a female Fwera trainer for hire who has no other customers, but, when the time comes, be too scared to actually try out for it. What will happen next? WAIT AND SEE, PEEPS! Again, any ideas for a title can be left in the comments! = ❤ ------------------------------------------------------------------------- CREDITS ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Music: Pulse of Unambitious Children by Mid-Air Machine under a Creative Commons Attribution Share-Alike License (https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-sa/3.0/us/) Backdrop: https://www.maxpixel.net/Watercolor-Background-Art-Abstract-Vintage-2388284 All Other Art:
