IN HALF AN HOUR, A TRIAL WILL BE IN SESSION! ----------------------- Okay, now that a trial is actually happening, I'm going to be listening the specifics on how a trial works: -Only talk in the trial in the trial chain! -When the trial is in session, no other RP chains can take place. -When your character makes what YOU think is an important statement, true or false, (if you're the murderer, it might be that the murderer mispoke and accidentally gave away information that shouldn't have been known) that you want to be recognized, put an asterisk (*) around your statement. (Ex: "What if *the cause of death wasn't being stabbed in the stomach*?") The 'case-curators' will make their character(s) agree with or disagree with that statement. If we agree, then whoopie, you're a step closer to finding out the murderer! If we disagree, well, then, rethink your statement. -TRIALS ARE 100% SERIOUS! Sure, your character can try to be light-hearted when they're talking ('pfft, and I'm the Queen of England' for example) but please make these comments few and far between. ABSOLUTELY NOTHING LIKE 'and then billy was like 'HISAKI IF YOU SAY ANOTHER WORD IM GOING TO VOMIT AND FLY A UNICORN' but you can have something like 'Billy scowled. "Hisaki, I swear, if you make another stupid comment like that I might consider murdering you after this trial." -If you want to vote, post a comment saying "!!!VOTE REQUESTED!!!" At least three people who are not case-curators must reply with 'Vote' before the case-curators can allow a vote to take place. If the vote is allowed, Moss will start a voting chain where you will reply with the name of who you think is the murderer, and nothing else. One vote per rper, not characters that you rp. Majority rules. -If you get it incorrect, a new trial chain will be started and you will have to start from scratch.
MURDER INFORMATION: Victim: Tomoe, SHSL Stargazer Body Discovered By: Jin Time Body Was Discovered: 1:23 AM Estimated Time Of Death: 11:07 PM - 1:15 AM Location Body Was Discovered: Kitchen Clues: -Broken telescope laying nearby. -There seems to be a large dent in the victim's head, assumed to be made by the telescope. -Shattered glass laying next to victim. -Peanut lodged in victim's throat. -Jar of knocked over fake peanuts nearby. -Cause of death is not confirmed, but is assumed to be either the fake peanut or the telescope. -Witness statement made by Jin: 'At around 11:00, I heard someone walking by my dorm room. I opened the door to see who it was, and I saw Tomoe holding her telescope. She told me she was going to get a late-night snack before trying to find a place where she could stargaze, or, if she was not able to do that, then to go back to sleep. I closed the door after that. Later, I woke up at around 1:10, and began to walk towards the kitchen for ice cream. I was close enough to have heard any noises coming outside of the kitchen, so she couldn't have died when I was walking down there. When I got there, she was dead.'
