To run this project properly hold shift and click on the green flag at the start. It should say turbo mode. Now you can click the green flag normally to begin. Click to place dots on the canvas, drag to move around. PULSE was meant to be a music creator that worked by placing notes (the dots) anywhere in the canvas. The distance from the center would determine when the notes were played, and the pitch of the note would be determined by the height of the note on the canvas. This dream could not become reality because of Scratch's bad sound blocks. All I needed was a block that looks like "play note ()" without beats specified, but that wish could not be granted. So we're stuck with this for the time being, until Scratch figures out how to make noises with the computer properly.
NOTE: the following description is the description that would have been if music blocks were better, so is redundant at the moment. Please visit to solve my problems :) ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Using PULSE you can pretty much paint music. There are infinitely many different songs you can create, and even randomly placed notes will sound good. Check out more stuff made by me @theonlygusti This is a 1sprite1script project. Do this by holding the shift key and then clicking the green flag at the start. Please visit http://scratch.mit.edu/discuss/topic/47675/ to fix this problem.
