Best played when downloaded! The Final Boss has extreme lag when you play the game on the Scratch website! THIS IS NOT THE FULL VERSION OF THE GAME. The music in the game took up too much space, so I had to remove the music. This version of the game has no music because it was the only way I could upload it to Scratch. The full version is 34.1 MB large. The music took up A LOT OF SPACE. TO DOWNLOAD THE FULL VERSION WITH ACTUAL MUSIC, PLEASE GO HERE: http://www.superjetpackerplus.weebly.com The caps lock probably wasn't necessary, but I want to make sure I can get your attention. I know some Scratchers just play games without looking at the description. ---------- ORIGINAL DESCRIPTION ---------- This was a remake project that I created with permission from Pencilmaster (the original creator of SuperJetPacker). I have been working on this project since November 13, 2011. It was finally finished on June 3, 2012. Just as I did with "Lucas vs. Fassad", I fixed as many glitches as possible. I also added several new features! Here's a list of the new stuff: - New music YAY - I've changed SuperJetPacker's eyes to move around when he uses his jetpack. - Ground interaction is less sloppy now. - SuperJetPacker has a bit of a swaying animation when he moves, thus making the game look smoother. - You can now press down to activate your upper jets, making yourself fall downward at twice the speed! This is great for avoiding the lava floating above you. - Falling down pits will hurt you now! - I've animated the fire arm in Level 7. - There is an invinciblity powerup that can be collected in Level 8. But it's only on-screen for about 6 seconds, so grab it quickly! It's definitely worth getting since the effect lasts for 20 seconds, and Levels 9 and 10 can be quite challenging. - The boss isn't going down without a fight! You have to hurt him 3 times, he spins faster with each hit, and he now uses the fire arm from Level 7 as a weapon (except it's bigger now)! He uses Pencilmaster's unused "explosion" sprite from the original game once he's defeated. There's also a secret alternate Death sounD effect (Performed by a guest speaker, not me) that can be accesseD by holDing Down a certain button when you Defeat him. - The game'S not over after you beat the boSS. I've added Some new Secret levelS that, like the boSS'S alternate death Scene, can be acceSSed by holding down a certain button when you touch the brown "final" door. - Not only are the secret levels unique and challenging, but at the end an old foe returns to settle a score, accompanied by a much tougher final boss. This guy's unrelenting, so keep moving to dodge his attacks! - I've noticed in several comments on the original SuperJetPacker game that people wanted SuperJetPacker to have a limited amount of fuel. I'm not planning to tell you how this is implemented, but let's just say this hasn't gone unnoticed. ;) There's one big glitch I couldn't fix. Sometimes, if you click the green flag and return to the title screen, other sprites (like the fire arm, the invincibility powerup or the boss) will show up on the title screen as well. This glitch is easy to get around. Just click the green flag again and everything will go back to normal. (To avoid encountering this glitch at all, I recommend you click the green flag TWICE whenever you want to replay the game) Music Copyrights: Title Screen Theme [LOUD] © Microsoft Levels 1-4 Theme [quiet] © Kemco Levels 5-6 Theme © Nintendo Levels 7-10 Theme © Nintendo Boss Theme [LOUD] © Microsoft Levels 11-12 Theme © Nintendo Levels 13-15 Theme © Nintendo Levels 16-20 Theme © Nintendo Mini-Boss Theme [LOUD] © Microsoft Final Boss Theme © Nintendo Alternate Final Boss Theme © Capcom NOTE: No matter how hard I tried, I couldn't fix the wall detection or the ceiling detection without breaking the floor detection. So, I guess you'll just have to deal with having walls that Superjetpacker is able to fly through. Sorry. However, the floor detection DOES work, so don't try flying through the ground. If you want, you can download this project and try to fix the wall detection yourself. Also, I encourage you to try and add some more levels! The game has a built-in wall detector, lava detector and exit detector, meaning all you need to do in order to create a level is to paint it!
