By design, the offensive spells are used as a means of attacking opponents, the movement spells provide ways of getting around the screen, and the defensive spells have the exclusive ability to block enemy attacks. However, just because a spell is designed for one thing, it can have various uses. -Offensive spells can be used for spacing out opponents, and keeping them on the defensive while you plan your next move. -Many movement spells are useful as offensive or defensive abilities. For example, the Fire Dash surrounds you in a fire as you move which hurts foes, and the Thunder Flash teleports you in any direction instantly, which can be useful for dodging attacks. -Defensive spells are designed to block opponents attacks, but they can be used offensively. For example, the Water Attack, Bubble, can only hit opponents in front of you. The Water Defense, Water Sphere, on the other hand, flares above you, which can be used to attack opponents from below.
