I've started crossing out elements that are taken :3 Notey note: Please get my approval before taking and drawing an element. You'll probably get it--I'd like anyone who wants to to be able to participate--but I'd just like to be able to put it down so nobody else tries to take it. Thank you! ^^ Hi, this is Color, and welcome to my new project! It's kind of like a MAP but not animated. Or to a song. Anyway, you can sign up for it. But all you have to do is draw a picture! Or two. Or five, if you'd prefer. This project is going to be about element cats! And I don't mean the Fire Water Earth Air variety of elements. No, I'm talking Hydrogen Helium Lithium Beryllium and so on! I've been really into chemistry lately, and so I'm aiming to create a really big picture of all the elements as cats. But I can't do all of them myself, so that's where you guys come in! Here's where you can sign up for any element to draw as a cat! I've already claimed six of the elements, but you can pick any of the others. When all the elements are done I'll put them together and post the table on my website! :D Rules: -You can do anywhere from one to six elements -Check the list of elements so you don't pick one that's already taken -Your drawing should be about the dimensions of the box on the second slide or the example on the third slide (though it doesn't have to be the same size, it can be bigger) -Write the name, atomic symbol, and atomic number of the element on the picture (like in the example.) The number can be small, but the symbol should be large and very visible. (This is a periodic table, remember. You want to be able to see all the symbols well.) If your symbol is too small, I might edit your drawing so I can see it better. -Use a program other than Scratch to get the effects right :3 -When you're drawing your element, take into account the name of the element and what it's used for. (WebElements.com is a good resource, as is periodictable.com.) -Don't worry about time. There's no deadline. This is going to take a while no matter how many of us are doing it. X3
