heyo! here's my entry, sorry its late! what a cute design though! I had to enter for him!!
Mica woke up suddenly, squinting in the light. He looked around, taking in his surroundings. To his right was a forest, to his left, a rocky and threatening looking cave. Why was he here? Where was he from? What was going on? He wondered in a growing panic, spinning around as he looked for signs of anything that could help him remember, to no avail. He tried to calm down, repeating the only thing he knew for certain over and over again. His name. Mica. He looked over his shoulder at the markings on his back. They were an almost neon blue, standing out very brightly from his drab grey coat. Did they mean something? He needed to get somewhere at least for temporary shelter, he could tell by the clouds there was going to be a storm. Almost instinctively, he turned towards the cave. Not a moment too soon it seemed, as it began pouring rain very soon after. He sat watching the rain for a bit, then decided to explore the cave. As he continued into it, he realized his markings were almost... glowing? They were pulsing in what seemed to be random patterns, and he noticed he had markings on his face as well. He soon came across an underground stream. As he stopped to take a drink, he looked at his reflection. Wow, he had a lot of scars. He couldn't remember what they were from, or even how old they were. It frustrated him to no end. Suddenly, something caught his eye across the stream. Something else was glowing. He went towards it, cautiously. As he came closer, he saw it was another cat, but this one seemed to have green markings. When the other cat saw him, it snarled and launched itself at him. Mica yelled in alarm, and tried to move out of the way. As the cat skidded in front of him, it unsheathed its claws. It's claws glowed completely green, and were almost too bright to look at, as well as being almost larger than would seem necessary. Mica looked down on his own paws, and hesitantly unsheathed his own. As he thought, his claws were also large, but just glowed blue instead. The two cats looked up at each other, and the colors clashed. As they fought, Mica tried to piece together what was happening. The scars had to be from encounters like this, but why did this cat hate him? He desperately looked for an escape route from the fight, knowing he couldn't win at this point. The only way to get away from the Green would be to lose them in the tunnels. He took a deep breath, and leapt for the wall behind his attacker. His claws dug into the rock like butter, and he climbed up to another ledge. The Green seemed to not want to follow him, and just paced for a while, before finally giving up. Mica sighed in relief. For now, he decided, he wouldn't worry about his past. He needed to worry about surviving a whole lot more.
