Background story: When Emberpaw was just a kit, her mother died from going in cold water. She got paralyzed and started to drown. It was too late for anyone to rescue her. Emberpaw's father pushed her mother into the lake. So, he only knew. Later on, Emberpaw (later on when she was an apprentice) found out that he did it, so she killed her father, then hid his body in deep thickets. Nobody knows her dark secret.
