It asks for an operator (the appropriate answers are: +, -, x, plus, minus, times & divide), but does not accept silly answers. Check your spelling,as it may not recognize the answer if you don't! Simply type in the first number of the sum (decimals allowed!), then type in the other number. Then your result is given once all the numbers are completed!
