Hearing about the snow falling up North has made me think about tumbling snowflakes, the sound snow makes as it hits the ground, and the whoosh of the wind as it stirs the drifts into eddies. Click on Green Flag to start.
Started with just getting a collection of variably sized and randomly appearing snow flakes to fall from the sky. Then I began to play. Did they all have to fall at the same rate? Could they wobble a bit in their trajectory? How to capture that sparkle? 12/09/18 Added Music "Little Snowflake" from https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F9ITLj3uwV8 by Miss Forbis, Published on Dec 3, 2014 (viewed 12/9/18) As part of thinking about eddies and wind, once snowflakes hit the ground they can bounce up when touched by the sled. It is not as immediate as I would like,. SF turn blue on the ground so I can find them to test.
