I FORGOT THIS WAS GETTING CURATED TODAY AHH!! (April 16, 2020) so I was wondering why I had 127 messages
This is my entry for DBoss06's writing contest! It had to be only 5 pages so I tried my best. I did leave out some details here and there to fit all the words. I tried so hard to leave a mini cliffhanger and I hope I did good! Please comment nice things if you want to. I was supposed to draw some art for this as well, I usually draw in bitmap but this time I had to draw in vector so the art isn't as good. You can go inside to look at it. I hope you like it anyways! - Space OR arrow keys OR click! - Mobile friendly! - Art is inside the project - Story is inside the project AND in the description - 415 words! _______________________________________________ Here's the story copied and pasted so that those of you on mobile can see it too! Diana sighed. Her uncle had recently invented androids and now everybody loved them. They wanted androids. So- me even wanted to be an android. She hated it. She wanted nothing to do with them. She wanted to be normal. Why w- ould people just throw away their oppo- rtunity to enjoy things only humans co- uld ever enjoy. "You know what? I wish he didn't create androids!" She scream- ed those words every day. "I want ever- ything to be normal!" Diana repeated those same words, everyday. She was sick of this, so sick that she wasn't stay- ing. That night, Diana had already pack- ed her main belongings in a backpack. She trudged to the front door and push- ed it open. The moment her foot touched the cold concrete, the flash of regret was almost overwhelming. "Bye." was all Di- ana said. For the first time, Diana was al- one. No sounds, no movements, nothing. She ended up traveling to a small scoop carved in the ground and sleeping there. A bright pink light spread across the sky when Diana woke. She was tucked in a blanket, still in the same spot she slept. A boy about the same age as her was sitting a few feet away. He handed her a cup of water when she sat up. "Oh, you're awake!" He grinned. "I'm Isaac, nice to meet you!" Diana almost fainted in surprise that someone had found her. Maybe her parents were looking for her? She had never seen the boy, how would her parents even know him? "O-oh, my my name is Diana." She paused, is it really smart to tell a stranger her name? But he had told her his name so maybe he could be trusted. "How did you find me?" He laughed a bit, "I live near here and I just saw you sleeping there!" Isaac then got up and began leaving. "Wait!" She shouted. He stopped in his tracks. "Please don't go." Diana was terrified of the thought of being on her own again. "Stay here, I'll be back." He called over his shoulder and disappeared behind a thick wall of greenery. Moments passed and Diana didn't dare move. The bushes shuffled a bit and Isaac reappeared, car- rying a basket with fruits. "Here, you m- ust be hungry." He smiled and watched her take a bite out of an apple. Almost immediately she felt something wrong. A sticky feeling crept down her throat. She started choking and everything bl- urred around her. "I-I-Issac..." A horrible numb feeling washed over her.
