▷alone // palette map -- please read all >> In association with https://scratch.mit.edu/studios/5539440/ ▷ You are not alone, wherever, whoever you are. You are beautiful, unique, talented, and most importantly, not alone. You should feel free to speak up and and stand up. You are not invisible, nor ignored. You have the power to change this. ▷ Last year, Childlike held 4,000 counselling sessions about loneliness. Children as young as six have turned to the charity for help, with many complaining they felt invisible and misunderstood. The charity said children were suffering in a digital world, with parents “addicted to being busy” while social media left many feeling “ugly and unpopular” - Credit to the Telegraph ▷ Rules: - No criticism or making fun of other's parts. - >>> Please use the palette inside!! <<< - Don't make it too sad or violent! this part has some pretty serious themes so i thought it might fit more with a realistic style?? this part is about coping with grief. the lion is called marco and the tiger is his best friend, jay. he was taken from his family as a child to join a circus, and jay became his only friend - more like an older sister. then jay breaks a leg and can no longer perform her part in the circus. she is not earning her money anymore, and the circus has no use for her. they can't afford vet bills and they kill her quietly. the audience is not told anything. marco feels even more trapped and alone. the cage in this part is partly representing the literal cage he is stuck in when not performing, and partly the cage he trapped himself in in his mind - that he doesn't want to do anything and nothing seems worth it. this is showing him breaking through both cages to find a way forward. the pain doesn't go away but he learns to live with it, keeping jay with him in everything he does. <3
