yo uh, I've been noticing a lot of art stealing n' stuff lately (icon stealing as well) and a lot people have not been giving credit to the original artists and I'm just genuinely super annoyed, because the people that are stealing art/icons probably did not ask before using, because if you're stealing art and claiming it as your own you may be taking somebody has spent hours on maybe for themselves or for somebody else, as well as this people have beloved characters that people are just stealing because they are not creative enough to make their own or to request one from someone. As well as this a lot of people are using age as a defense for their age, but it's not helping at all, people will claim to be maybe 16+ but clearly they aren't because they will act extremely immature because older people would clearly understand right from as the people who are stealing obviously don't. Honestly if art stealers could find an alternative from art theft (eg. f2u bases with credit or commission/ask for a base) I think that scratch would immediately become so much better, but we gotta work towards that or scratch is going to become worse than it already is.
