alright. *cracks knuckles* time to rant. = pet peeve #1: icon stealing = now this one is, sadly, very common. when someone steals your icon or an icon that you made for someone else. i'm lucky that this hasn't happened to me personally yet, but i've seen it happen to others a billion times. and i'm sure that if i keep making art for a while, it will happen to me. art theft in general is a big problem on scratch, and the mods aren't lifting a finger to solve it. = pet peeve #2: icon requests = no, obviously, i don't have a problem with icon requests in general. but you know what does make me really mad? when you spend hours making someone an icon, and after weeks (sometimes even months), they just never use it. they just ignore it. they simply let it dwindle away in the wind. if you want me to make you an actual art request, like a full-body one, then just ask. i wont mind. why ask for an icon if you're just going to ignore it? = pet peeve #3: rude people = this one has definitely happened to me, but much more often on my older accounts. they literally just come on your profile and are like "MAKE ME AN ICON RIGHT NOW" or like "I NEED A FULL-BODY LINELESS, STAT." i am not your art slave. i am not your art machine, either. i have a life outside of scratch, and i want to spend time in it away from demanding people on the internet. i'm always happy to make art requests for anyone, **if you ask nicely.** = pet peeve #4: taking "inspiration" = basically copying someone's oc or fursona and claiming they were just "inspired" by it. again- hasn't happened to me yet, but it's everywhere. i've seen dta winners get their beautiful prizes stolen by the bitter people who lost. it's just so infuriating. does it look to you like this oc has a "for sale" sign wrapped around its neck? do you think the owner offers free samples?? anyways, that's the end of my first rant, i guess. seriously though it really makes me mad when people dont even use their icon requests ://
