This was really my first time using BeepBox for anything at all. I'm sure that with some more work I'll eventually get used to making songs in parts. It makes it interestingly easier in some ways, and harder in others. Here's some PROS and CONS between CHIRP Rezoner and BeepBox: (below in the Notes and Credits)
www.CHIRP.Rezoner.net/ PROS: - There is a larger and more widely editable variety of sounds - Entire songs can be saved and loaded at once - Editor is comfortable and user-friendly (also quite self-explanatory) CONS: - Requires LIVE recording to be put into WAV file form. - If internet or CPU speed/usage is not doing well, songs can lag and not record properly. - Tracks created from the same tool will have similar wavelengths and will therefore get a little mixed up when played together, making songs with many instruments really hard to make without having it sound like just n o i s e. www.BeepBox.co/ PROS: - Can be instantly put into WAV form with no recording necessary - Will not be heavily affected by browser trouble, as CHIRP is - Tracks can generally stand out more without having to be louder? (at least so far, and considering 4 is the limit) CONS: - Only 4 different tracks can be manipulated at once - Each track can only have 8 different melodies/beats - Editor is odd and not very user-friendly (of course, one can always get used to it but that's besides the point) So what do you think? Which do you prefer? Let me know in the comments!!
