MOST PLAUSIBLE THEORY, EVIDENCE, ALT. THEORY, etc. | \l/ The most plausible theory that I found was that D.B. Cooper just died. This is because of the rotting money, the weather, and his clothing choice. The rotting money found mainly means that he died, and due to transportation by weather, the money got scattered. With the weather, being able to land a parachute in heavy winds is a miracle, and snow just blinds you. With D.B.'s clothing option, no good parachutist would wear restrictive clothing. The reason I didn't choose Kenneth is simply that of his figure. Yes, most people will shrink a centimeter or two as they get older but how the stewardess described D.B. compared to Kenneth was that Kenneth was inches shorter than D.B., and that does not fit with normal human anatomy. A lot of things in this mystery I found intriguing, mainly the fact that they did not ever find a body, searching all of the possible forests he could have landed in. What I would assume happened is that Dan died on a tree or something like that. I learned quite a bit with this project, especially more details about the mystery. I was told the basics in 5th grade, but I really learned all of the backstories and clues to solve it. I still do have a few questions about this mystery, though. Did Dan have any common sense in choosing where and when to jump, saying his place to jump was so bad? And why did they never test the DNA from Kenny to see if he was really Dan? Overall, I liked this topic and I had a really good time making an [educational] game out of it.
