The parents, desperate, try to contain thier children's minds in an android, but its very expensive and not always successful. SPOILERS BELOW Anna's parents tried to pay for the treatment, but had a momentary lapse in funding. So, they had to stop it. Time when by, and now she's past saving. Anna remembers the android as a friend who knew her more deeply than anyone else, but that's because it was a copy of her. Anna only wants to save her friend. Her parents want to save her daughter. I'm not sure about the ending. I think it was just the world saying farewell to yet another child, and her mother along with her.
The title is Departure. I had to shorten it a bit because of the limit. You can see the art by pressing space. Enjoy! The song is called Stars Align. I'm not sure who its from. :) The art is the box that Anna kept Issy in, with snow at the top. I originally drew it in vector, but had to change to bitmap to fill in a few holes.
