WARNING: FLASHING COLORS! So, I was watching way to many memes, and I fell in love with this one. I thought it sounded like one of my characters, so I did just that. -Story- Jade (black cat) is used to living with humans around. When a blastwave wipes out only humans, Jade, her mother Swan, and her Aunt Ivy have to scavenge what humans left in their homes. When a flood comes and threatens to take a kitten's life, Jade jumps in the water to save it from drowning. The water sucks them both in and carries the two miles away from Jade's family. When the flood recedes, Jade takes the kitten as her adopted daughter and names her Storm (the gray cat). They travel to find civilization and find Carowinds, an old amusement park used even the day humans disappeared. They find a colony of cats living there. One falls in love with Jade (Tab- the silver tabby), but Jade can't return the feelings, for she is asexual. The leader, Sassafras (dark brown cat), despises Jade and decides to let her, Tab, and Sage (Jade's best friend- light brown cat) ride the Fury 325 during a lightning storm. A bolt hits the control center and the three are hurtling down uncontrollably. Sage falls out, which causes Jade to fall into the world of "my fault" grief. Tab jumps after Sage, trying to grab the tiny cat, but fails. Jade survives, but her leg is caught on the cart during the ride. Tab visits her in her dreams, but she becomes angry with Tab. He still doesn't understand and becomes worried.
