It tells you how many days until Christmas vacation (in my case, the 22nd). Once it's Christmas vacation, it will tell you how many days until Christmas.
By the way, this only shows the days until Christmas in December (After Christmas, if it's still December, it will show the snowy background, but during any other month, it will show a message saying that it currently isn't December).
