My poem is about Christmas Eve in my house. Every Christmas Eve we go to church. My dad preaches and normally I read a passage from the Bible pr something like that. We also get ornaments fro the christmas tree. Everyone gets a new one which my mom bought and she makes an embroidered tag for it. Each year we get 8 new ornaments for the tree! Another tradition is wearing matching snowflake pajamas to bed on Christmas Eve and having our photos taken all in a row. I am a Baptist so we go to church frequently (every week because my dad is the pastor) and we celebrate the birth of Christ. I am also American, I don't know if that means I do Christmas differently or not. This is the sort of thing my parents parents did so I think it's the American part of it because where I live nobody does this. Credit to my mom and dad for making these traditions be a thing.
