(Cont. from https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/271375243/ ) “Well… I guess in the meantime, we can move everything into storage, and at least order some of the new furniture and whatnot,” Keahi hummed, “oh, and we should discuss timing, because I’d still like to do some missions, but we shouldn’t just leave you five alone all day working on this.” “Maybe we could work on the house in the afternoon?” Wynaut suggested, “I like sleeping in anyway,” he admitted, “but, it does give you guys time to do your missions, for the mankeys to walk all the way over here, and for everyone to eat before starting! Plus, the longer we work, the less hot it will be. Since… y’know, it’ll become evening, which isn’t as hot at noon.” “That’s a good idea,” Tsuki agreed, nodding. “Okay! That works!” Keahi replied, “so, I guess we’ll see you guys at noon tomorrow then? It probably won’t be much then, just figuring out what we’ll need, and ordering it. Maybe tearing down this old place too? I guess we’ll see tomorrow then!” “Oh, alright! We should head home now anyway, see you tomorrow!” Wynaut exclaimed, “thanks again for helping us today!” Wobbuffet set back Wynaut onto the ground, and the pair left the house after giving everyone some extended waves in farewell. The mankeys left right afterwards without saying goodbye like the brothers had. “Do you think they’ll be alright walking back together?” Nelvana questioned a few moments after the group left. “I think so!” Keahi replied hopefully. “If not, we’ll find out soon enough, and settle things again,” Alex huffed, “but, I think they know better at this point to be picking fights with the brothers at least.” “Let’s hope so,” Tsuki sighed, stepping back from the table again, shaking her fur. “Shall we head into town now?” “Sure!” Keahi responded, “oh Arceus are we going to have to drag everything out there for storage…?” “Let’s check with Kangaskhan first, see what she has to say about this,” Nelvana suggested, setting down the pencil on the remaining paper. “We’ll probably have to drag everything out though, one way or another,” she added. “Shouldn’t be too hard though. I mean, you two had to bring everything in here in the first place, right?” Alex commented. “Not everything. Some stuff was already here when we got the house,” Keahi sighed. “Ah, well, there’s more of us now, so the workload should even out,” Alex shrugged, “let’s head out.” Now with just the quartet again, they headed back into Pokemon Square, where most citizens were out doing what they usually did, putting past recent events in favor of going back to normality, while others were still off in search of Team Meanies. Bellsprout stood in the center of town as usual, but today he stood alone, his two friends nowhere to be found. He looked up at Team Galaxy not long after their arrival, and wandered over to them. “Oh, Team Galaxy! Do you have a moment? I’ve been meaning to speak to you,” Bellsprout greeted. “Yeah, go ahead! What is it?” Keahi responded. “It’s just… you know Lombre and Snubbull. They’re both pretty prideful, and them falling for Gengar’s story kinda knocked them down a couple rungs on their self esteem. Which isn’t you guys’ fault, I’m just letting you know in case you were curious where they were. They’re part of the group hunting down Team Meanies, or, well, that’s what they said. They could just be hiding in shame. Either way, I don’t think you’ll be seeing them for awhile. Maybe Snubbull, at least she knows when to apologize,” Bellsprout explained, “and… sorry again on my part for just going along with them. I never believed it, but I never tried to stop it,” he added. “Well, thanks for letting us know,” Nelvana hummed. “Now, I’m sure you’re pretty busy… I spotted you all running back and forth earlier, didn’t want to stop you then. I’ll let you go now,” Bellsprout replied, scurrying off on the north path. “Meh, let’s just see Kangaskhan now,” Alex murmured after Bellsprout left, already walking off, not waiting for the others. Nelvana hurried after her partner without question, and the other two followed as well after a moment of hesitance, Tsuki joining the others before Keahi did. “Oh, hello there dearies! What a nice surprise, I didn’t expect to see you this afternoon. Do you need something?” Kangaskhan hummed, setting aside a basket that she had been filling with various berries. “Hi Kangaskhan! We actually have… a lot to do,” Keahi replied. “Team Meanies vandalised the house, so we decided to rebuild it, and need to move everything into here during that time,” Alex told her. Nelvana snickered, “you forgot the part that we needed more space anyway.” “You’re… rebuilding your house?” Kangaskhan questioned, her smile falling slightly. “Yeah! Don’t worry! We’re getting help, and we can afford what we need,” Keahi added quickly.
Kangaskhan leaned back a let out a sigh, “well, I guess I’ll have to trust you kids on that, but I might have to check by later anyway,” she said, “but, where will you be staying during this?” “We… huh, we didn’t actually discuss that,” Keahi mumbled. “The one thing we forgot! There’s always something,” Nelvana chuckled drily. “I mean, I guess I was thinking that we’d just stay at Scorched Plains,” Keahi shrugged. Kangaskhan shook her head, “that’s quite the far walk to do every morning and evening when you’re working all day long.” “What do you suggest then?” Alex asked, raising a brow at her reply. “Well, I live about a five minutes’ walk from here. If you’d like, you four could stay rest up at my place while your home is under construction,” Kangaskhan offered. “Oh really? That sounds great!” Keahi chirped, spinning around to face zir teammates. “What do you guys think?” Nelvana smiled, “sounds good to me.” Alex paused, furrowing his brows in thought for a moment, but then nodded, “I’m in. Won’t be for too long anyway, and will probably be better than sleeping outside, which was what I was planning on.” “I suppose that if you’re all alright with this, then so am I,” Tsuki agreed. “Okay then! Thanks a lot, Kangaskhan! I guess we’ll be back here at the end of the day!” Keahi exclaimed, spinning back around again to face Kangaskhan. “Except we’ll see you really soon because we still need to store everything,” zie added, spinning once more, this time in direction to leave. Nelvana placed a hand on the top of the energized torchic’s head, “if you keep spinning around like that, you’ll get dizzy and vomit.” “Ahaha… I’ll be fine! C’mon! We’ve got lots to do before the day is out!” Keahi exclaimed, pulling away from zir partner and hurrying off back to the ruined base. “Oh here, let me see if I can help carry some of your things,” Kangaskhan offered, stepping away from her stand and over to the team. Kangaskhan followed the quartet back to the vandalised base, where she expressed her own distaste at Team Meanies’ actions before going to help carry the items as she had originally offered. With the help of the larger pokemon, they were able to put everything into storage that they needed to in under a half hour. Once that task was complete, there was still enough time left in the day to get back to work before going home. Team Galaxy went back to doing missions, handling some from Silent Chasm to Sinister Woods, arriving back at Pokemon Square in the evening, and visiting the café for diner. Seeing as there wouldn’t be enough time to complete too many more missions, they lingered around town, chatting to each other and seeing where they could help the other citizens while they waited for Kangaskhan to be done working for the day. Makuhita accepted their aide in getting his business back on track, and the kecleon brothers were pleased at the helping hands with gathering some of their wares that had been just received. Nelvana found herself enjoying organizing various items, making sure everything was in their right place. Keahi would run around collecting what was needed, and as always, provided encouraging commentary to everyone. Alex stuck close to Nelvana, but offered his speed and agility in some instances. Tsuki wound up doing much of the heavy lifting, her strength, combined with her quadruped stance and lack of digits, making this the best choice for her, and fortunately she found herself enjoying it. Until finally, the sun began setting and Kangaskhan closed up shop, ready to head home and lead Team Galaxy to their temporary residence.
