NOT Rapunzel OK, this is a program to STOP & PREVENT bullying, not TO bully! ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Bullying is everywhere. It's at school, home, in public, and online. Even on our beloved Scratch. We must stop online bullying. Even saying a bad word is bullying. I once saw somebody comment 'fxuck'. (He couldn't write the real word, thanks to the "bad word detector". But when he did so he was commenting to ME, and I understood what he meant, and I got offended. You see how hurtful bullying can be, and how sensitive the victim can be. BUT you MUST learn to do ANYTHING you can to stop the bullying, and in my opinion I like to take matters into my own hands instead of asking for grown-up help like a baby (No offense). Once, a boy called Muneer (a real jerk) started scribbling on my math book with pen. I told him to stop, but since he wouldn't I broke his pen. He got furious, and I was proud of myself. But when he/she starts putting his/her hands on you, you MUST tell someone. Your body is your private space, and NO ONE is allowed to touch you without permission. Please STAND UP for yourself, or at least ignore the person if he/she isn't hurting you phisically, unless he/she is wrecking your stuff. If you just don't have the courage please ask others for help, like organize a group of friends to stand up against bullying. If you don't do anything bullying will continue, and each time WORSE. Once, the SAME KID, Muneer, pushed Salma. She pushed back, and they got in a fight. (This was currently at art class.) Muneer stomped on Salma's glasses and they broke. Eventually the art teacher broke up the fight, but Salma had won because she NEVER, EVER got bullied again. I treat that story as a legend. And Salma's glasses got okay in the end; she fixed them with super glue. As you may have noticed, the female sex is the main target. Almost every girl in all schools are picked on, and a lot of them stand by and do nothing to defend themselves. It gets worse and worse, until eventually the kid drops out of school.(True fact!) You may think this is a good thing, but the education of the next generation is the key to the sucess of humankind. For this reason this program leans towards girls, but ALL boys are definitely allowed. *Why should I help out? Bullying can be very, very hurtful, if you haven't experienced it before. If we can make the entire world at peace, we will have the power to face the challenges and problems that lie ahead, and even the current ones. *How can I help out? -Help others while being bullied, instead of standing by. -Join K.I.S.A.P. (More info below)I mean way, way down below) -Talk to people in power, even everybody, about how to end wars and inequalities. -Be respectful, no matter what sex, race, interest, or anything. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Please share your experiences and/or what you saw of bullying in the comments. We would love to know. This program is part of a larger program called 'K.I.S.A.P.' (Kids International Social Ammendance Program). I created it myself. This sub-program is called S.B.P. (Scratch Bullying Program) To stop bullying is the first step towards having a peaceful world. Before long we'll be discussing with the president how to end war.
