Similar in many ways to my escape velocity calculator, this cage just needs you to input the cage's dimensions and it will then tell you how many animals of a given type will fit in it comfortably (although in practice keeping as many animals in the cage as is physically possible is ill-advised, if the number of rodetns supported is above 5 do not try putting that many rodents in the cage). On a side note, the hamster calculation isn't particularly useful due the fact that if you put two syrian hamsters together they will inevitably fight viciously, meaning that you should avoid keeping syrians together (this does not apply to dwarf hamsters). This is version 1.5 of the cage calculator! Gambian pouched rats are now supported by the calculator.
