☆ just observe ☆ what's the difference? ➻ the wrong one shows minimal use of hues and other colors, simply using colors directly below the color picker, like white with gray shading. the lineart is the same, not using different colors. notice how the lineart is trickier to spot and how the face shape is not defined. ➻ the right one uses different color hues to shade, as a result the lineart is more defined and stands out. want to know what i mean? use a color picker (the 3.0 one is weird but still works) and click the hair's base color. it's color 74. click on the darker shading. the color has changed to 71. on a different color picker like the one on firealpaca this difference is easier to see as the color scale physically moves. it's not staying on the same color and varying shade. it's moving to a different color. can i use some example colors? ➻ of course! you can draw li in your own style with the colors i've used, i'd love to see what you draw <33
