Just sign your username on the stage, which is now the backdrop I don't like 3.0 because of how the blocks look. They're too large and simple-looking. I haven't tried the new sound or costume editors, but the idea of new costumes and sounds in the provided library is nice, since the existing library was starting to feel small. The new layout of everything is a bit different, but not too bad. However, I feel that all of the improvements that came with the 3.0 update are canceled out by the blocks editor. The improved blocks were one of the things that made Scratch stand out from other blockly code editors like the ones used in the Hour of Code (code.org) and MIT App Inventor (appinventor.mit.edu). The blocks had a great design. I feel that the new blocks are now inferior tothe blocks used by other blockly editors. Please, Scratch Team, bring back the old block design.
Thanks to @octoshower for the original project shown below. Well I guess it's above now. ^
