Full instructions inside the game. These are the original 12 levels from the BBC version of Repton. All levels CAN be completed without losing a life. Good luck! (Please note if you Restart a level your score for the game is reset. This is done deliberately) Congratulations for reading down this far! In 1986 an unofficial clone of Repton was created by Kenton Price but never published. Known as Ripton, it used similar mechanics but the levels were much harder. The 10 Ripton levels are hidden as a second scenario inside of this project, but word of warning, I don't think the final two levels are possible using this engine... Anyway, use the password "Ripton" to access the hidden scenario. :)
Repton was originally devised by Tim Tyler for the BBC Micro and Acorn Electron, and released by Superior Software in 1985. The game music is a version of "Black and White Rag" by George Botsford, which was the original music in the game. "Ripton" Music is "The Entertainer" by Scott Joplin.
