[Para instrucciones en Español, desplázate hacia abajo ↓ ↓] Welcome to Blast 'em!!! There are a lot of instructions, so feel free to scroll through and read it all if you have a question. ========================================= Goal: This is essentially a 2-Player laser tag, where the object is to make your opponent lose their hearts before yours. ========================================= Controls: Use the mouse to navigate through the instructions. --------------- Player 1 uses WASD to move and SPACE to shoot. They use R to reload their ammo. --------------- Player 2 uses the ARROW KEYS to move and P to shoot. They use O to reload their ammo. ========================================= General Notes: -The MERCY RULE makes it so that once one player can no longer win, the game automatically ends (think of this as a "best of" mechanic... ex: instead of playing 10 games you could play a best of 10). -If the score is TIED at the end, there will be a 1-game tie breaker to determine the winner. -You can wall jump in this game by holding the key to jump (either W or UP ARROW) as well as the key that presses you towards the wall (A or D or LEFT ARROW or RIGHT ARROW). -You cannot shoot while reloading, and you can't reload with full ammo (full ammo = 10 bullets). -You will instantly lose all your hearts if you fall to the bottom of the screen, touch the moving car, or touch anything that is red (not counting the red hearts and red ammo counters). -If you touch the light blue part of the ground, you will be bounced into the air. If you touch the underside of it, you will cling to the bottom of it.
[Scroll down for credits ↓ ↓] Notes: First, I must say that this project took FOREVER to complete... I don't think I have ever had to do so much troubleshooting and bug fixing in one project. I started this game well over 3 years ago, and after many long breaks (sometimes as long as 10 months), I finally persevered through all of the frustrating problems and errors that I encountered. I started Scratch back in middle school, but now that I just graduated high school, I think I am retiring from the platform. I hope you enjoy this final project**, and please feel free to comment any feedback you may have! **There is a small chance that I one day add online multiplayer to this game, but that's only if I have the time and willingness to do it. ========================================= Credits: --------------- Just like my other two games, I used a function from @PullJosh for some of the player movement.
