Since I did not have the energy to walk to the dorm, I teleported there before anyone else arrived. I collected the feathers, returned them to the card, got ready for bed and fell asleep before my head hit the pillow.] … Everyone has a Mistlight, so all of the Mistlights in the room watched as I plopped onto my bed and picked up my notepad. As soon as I nodded to them, they flocked me, either immediately sitting on the bed, or closing the soundproof canopy curtains surrounding my bed. “Anyone have an idea?” I queried as soon as they had quieted down. One by one, paws were raised and I chose each one to hear their ideas and jot them down. The best one was to teach everyone how to do a special dance the Mistlights and I had choreographed the previous year for a talent showcase, which won overall. Some ideas were more for the laughs, like having a tutorial class on making the Mistlights (and myself, secretly) a tirra smoothie, which was a good idea, but I doubted it would last as long as the time limit required. Another one was to teach the class how to know what your Mistlight is thinking without asking questions. The last category was those I didn’t care for, like activating everyone’s latent abilities and teaching them how to wield them. I refused that one on the spot, because if I did do that, there would be chaos and I would be in massive trouble with the teachers. Secretly, I still wrote it down, though, because I wasn’t sure if Professor Stomsurge would like for me to do it, since I still have quite a few latent abilities to activate.
