(arrow keys & space bar if u want) THE TENDRILS OF TIME FOLLOW THE ROOT OF DESTINY. YOU CAN CHANGE YOUR FATE, BUT YOU CANNOT STOP IT. A PATH HAS BEEN CHOSEN FOR YOU. WILL YOU ACCEPT IT OR CHALLENGE IT? STRAYING FROM THE BEATEN PATH GIVES YOU INSPIRATION, BUT SEVERS ROOTS. ABSTAINING FROM INTERVENTION GIVES YOU SECURITY, BUT ALLOWS YOUR LEGACY TO FADE AWAY.
This game was made for Global Game Jam 2019. Theme was "What home means for you" and discussions with Carolina Stefansson led me to dream this up. I wanted to explore idea that settling down makes you safe and comfortable, but kills your inspiration while (volontarily) unrooting and moving around stimulates your inspiration, but kills your sense of security. It's extremely hyperbolic and that's what makes it interesting to me.
