When it asks you your element in the beginning: g - Ghost (default) f - Fire w - Water s - Storm i - Ice n - Nature d - Desert Otherwise it should be self-explanatory. Each element (except Ghost, which is neutral, even against itself) has an advantage over one element and a disadvantage over another.
