Before you say how bad this project is...I ONLY HAD 4 DAYS TO MAKE THIS! I'm actually proud I was able to create one of my biggest project in such a short time frame. Before you play the game, read everything in both sections. Since I couldn't make everything perfect, you may encounter some bugs while playing. A list of the known ones will be in the notes section. What you will play is only a single level of a huge game I may create. One with multiple levels, bosses, and mathematical topics. I will only create the final game if this buggy demo gets enough support. -------------------------------How to Play--------------------------------- This is a take-turn type fighting game. Like Pokemon, you and your opponent will turns delivering blows and defending yourselves. 1. At the beginning of your turn, you will choose to either use a melee or a ranged attack. Each one has different damage properties. Once you select your option (using your mouse), you will have to answer a question. This is where you might find bugs. If you answer correctly, you will be able to attack your opponent and then choose your defense options. Attacking will be done automatically. If you answer the question wrong, you will be given your defense options. 2. This is the next step while playing. You have the option to dodge or block. Blocking can only keep you safe from melee attacks, while dodging can only save you from ranged attacks. If you get the question wrong when asked, you will be open to enemy attacks. If you get hit by an attack, the heart above you will shrink. When the heart is gone, you are dead 3. The process will continue until someone's health reaches zero, or if a bug forces you to restart.
Known bugs (All will be fixed later after the release) Comment any that you find or a way to fix them. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Misjudgment- It is still unknown how this occurs, but somehow, any question you type will be counted wrong. You can see when it happens when you answer a question, but the answer box still stays. The only way to fix this is to restart your game by clicking the green flag. Confusion- This is when the CPU doesn't know what it is doing. Usually either it will say it blocked or dodged something it clearly didn't, attack too soon, dodge too soon, or do this weird animation when it hits you with a melee attack. Depending on the situation, you may or may not have to restart the game. Sometimes, you can just keep playing and the CPU will decide to be smart again. Invincibility- This is a weird bug. It has pros and cons. Pro/Con: you, the CPU, or both are invincible to attacks. Meaning you won't lose any health while getting hit. This also means that the game can't come to an end. The best thing about it is while the stickman has invincibility, the Misjudgment bug has a very low chance of happening. If you find any bugs. Please let me know so I can fix them!
