I promise I tried Basic Info: Name-Melanie Gender-Female Age- 5 years (24 years if turned human, I guess) Species- Dog Personality: Melanie's an ambivert. When comfortable, like with friends, family, or just in her shop, she's very bubbly, and happy. She can be exciting and loves to joke around. When she's uneasy, and/or with strangers, she's usually shy and anxious but opens up quickly. She's very optimistic, and it's hard for her to be cynical, even when in a bad mood. She's very friendly and likes to meet new people. Likes: Melanie loves gardening, and nature in general. She loves to hike, and go on walks. That's why she started her own flower shop, called Melanie's Plants. Also, why she got two flower tattoo sleeves on her front legs, and rose-tinted glasses. Along with flowers, she loves to read, especially cute romance novels because she's a hopeless romantic. Reading just puts her at ease, and she loves to do it on rainy days in her shop when customers are slow, maybe drink some tea as well. Her favorite genre of music is indie, like Cavetown and Mxmtoon. Dislikes: Melanie doesn't have many dislikes or pet peeves, mainly because she's kinda a pushover and will go with the flow, but a few things do get on her nerves. It makes her sad when people just buy a plant, before ignoring it and/or put it in unfit conditions. Another thing is super hot weather, because it makes caring for the plants a bit harder, except for the cacti, and it's uncomfortable. Backstory: Melanie was born into a middle-class family in the suburbs, with two other siblings. She had a nice average life and healthy relationships with friends and family. When she got older, Melanie moved into the city and started her business. It was a bit hard at first, but eventually, it took off and she got more and more customers each day. Now she lives in an apartment, not too far from her shop, and loves her life. I don't really know what to do for a short story, sorry. Anyways, I hope you like. I love the color palette of the character, along with the patterns and tattoos, and would greatly appreciate it if I was considered
