I'm originally from the Pacific Northwest and every time I go home I remember all over again how beautiful that part of the world is and how much I love it. In particular, I love how the hills and forests are covered in fog every morning. There is a specific place near where my family lives that I find really beautiful and I've been wanting to do artwork about it for a while. The new SDS theme is Monochromatic and I thought it was the perfect opportunity to explore this idea.
