Erm, I've redesigned the map since making this...basically, 2 o'clock is now the ex-Poison gym, possibly Serpentine City but subject to change, 5 o'clock is Crystalline, and the other 5 o'clock city is no longer in existence since it was really just a filler until I figured out what to put there. _________________ Mouse over the symbols to see their names! ______________________ For a while, I've been working on making up my own Pokémon Region...I was mostly concentrating on the Pokédex, but now I've finally designed the map! So, as an explanation for the layout, it's basically a clock! :D (I designed the map right after reading Catching Fire ^^') A player would start their journey in Slate Town and make their way around the region clockwise~ The region is currently called Jūni (twelve). I'll be adding more sites, and I'll probably make a project on the Pokémon and important people, like the Professor and the Gym Leaders. Suggestions for anything would be greatly appreciated! :) ______________________ Key: Large red squares - cities with gyms Large blue squares - cities without gyms Small blue squares - other sites Brown splotch - Axis Mountain Grey circle-thing - Train Station ______________________ Details on Cities: Slate Town -Player's house -Professor Maple's lab -Rival's house -beach Shikīchi City (12:00) -Trainer School -Pokémon Daycare -Children's Daycare -Pokémon Hatchery -Pokémon Center -Pokémart -Pokétransfer Lab Primary Town (1:00) -Normal Gym -Art Museum -Pokémon Center -Pokémart Crystalline City (2:00) -Bug Gym -Safari Game -Foreign Heights Aviary -Pokémon Center -Pokémart Aether City (3:00) -Light Gym (new type~) -Hall of Fame -Pokémon Center -Pokémart -Villainous Team HQ (currently named Team Spirit, subject to change) Amulet Town (4:00) -Ghost Gym -Reincarnation Lab -Pokémon Center -Pokémart Quintropolis (5:00) -Pokémon Center -Pokémart -no other specifics yet except that all the citizens are obsessed with the number 5~ Astral Village (6:00) -Zodiac Wheel Infinity Town (7:00) -Pokémon Center -Pokémart -no other specifics yet Sapphire City (8:00) -Psychic Gym -Pokémall (with Connoisseur station/compatibility check) -Advanced Trainer School -Pokémon Center -Pokémart Ender City (9:00) -Dark Gym -Hall of Infamy -Pokémon Center -Pokémart Fondant Town (10:00) -Ice Gym -Bakery -Ice Skating Rink -Pokémon Olympics -Pokémon Center -Pokémart Champirite City (11:00) -Dragon Gym -Move Tutor's house -Pokémon Center -Pokémart -gate to Badge Gates ______________________ Other details: - Axis Mountain is the center of the region. - The Train Station is a way to get around the region quickly. It has two bullet trains that travel through the "hands" of the clock. The minute hand is always pointing at Shikīchi City, because that's supposed to be the center of commerce. The hour hand can turn to point towards any o'clock city, and then you can ride the train to that city. The hand is controlled by magnetic forces generated on an island of sorts floating above the region called Timekeep Island. - Victory Road and the Pokémon League are also on Timekeep Island. How one gets to the island is yet to be determined. ^^' - Other region Pokémon can be found in this region, and can evolve into new forms! :D - There are three main legendaries of this region: Quetzsoul, Kerberest, and a currently unnamed Zodiac Pokémon. Quetzsoul is said to live on Axis Mountain, which is supposed to be a play on Mount Olympus. Kerberecs is said to live beneath the mountain - in the Underworld, basically. The Zodiac Pokémon has twelve formes which correspond to the Greek Zodiac. - The Elite Four use Grass, Water, Fire, and Electric-type Pokémon. The Champion, as in other regions, uses various types. - 3:17 is the city of lies. (look at 317 upside down! :D) In between Aether City and Amulet Town is a fork in the road, and the way is blocked by a truth teller and a lie teller. Typical you-can-ask-one-question-to-tell-the-difference scenario. The truth teller's path leads to Amulet Town, and the lie teller's path leads to 3:17. Basically, all the citizens of 3:17 lie to you. - On Route 4, at 3:14 on the clock, is a big pie-shaped rock and a pie stand. 'Cause Pi is 3.14 etc etc! :D - The Infinity Pool is something like the Moonpool from Warriors. Details to be worked out. Probably some connection to a legendary. ______________________ That's it for now! Please comment! Especially you, mrmyoom!
