A Vector drawing of a Guardian Stalker from The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild that I made The legs are semi-poseable. It's kinda hard and you need to screw with the layers a bit but it can be managed. Just look at the thumbnail, it's a decent example of what can be done with them. No seriously Guardians gave me PTSD after I tried to run through the Forgotten Temple in my underwear (Which, granted, was not a good idea.) (And they didn't actually give me PTSD)
First Vector drawing my dudes I hope this helps people make things The legs were actually the hardest part. I had to make the individual sections and then the foot of the leg, and then I had to repeat the process three more times. There was a lot of copying and pasting and screwing around with the layers, but the end result is pretty satisfying. I'm proud of my creation. Also, I hate the Guardians in the game. They sneak up behind me and blast me into oblivion whenever I'm doing something important (Such as climbing Central Tower, which is surrounded by them). Also, most players get scared when they CAN see a Guardian, but I get scared when I CAN'T. Because: *Dramatic piano solo* Me: Where? Guardian: *BEEPBEEPBEEPBEEPBEEPBEEP* Me: DEAR GOD WHERE?! *Gets blown up* But the most annoying part about Guardians is the fact that they pretty much only appear when I'm doing something specific and important and not just running around in my underwear dropping heavy objects on Bokoblins and throwing Cuccos into Death Mountain. Whenever I'm not doing anything in particular or am actually prepared for a fight then, well, (Freddie Mercury's voice) THERE'S NO STOPPING MEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE- but when I'm actually doing something important or am COMPLETELY unprepared for a fight because I'm low on hearts, Mipha's Grace is still charging, the only weapons I have either suck or are really good ones that I don't want to waste on the Guardian, and the only foods I have either A, restore WAY more hearts than I actually need, or B, give me some useless effect that I neither want, need, or CARE about in any way, THAT'S when all the Guardians in the game decide to pile up on that ONE PARTICULAR SPOT. Now, I'm not saying that I'm bad at killing Guardians. Far from it, actually (I've taken down about 11 or 12). But killing them is EXTREMELY tedious, and it offers little benefit to the actual gameplay. While the Ancient parts you get from them can be sold at a shop for a fair amount of Rupees, the only useful things you can do with them is to use them to upgrade some of the Runes on your Sheikah Slate (Which you don't need that many materials for. You can get sufficient materials just by searching through chests and the Fallen Guardians in, say, Akkala.), or throw them in the Ancient Oven in the Akkala Ancient Tech Lab to get armor and weapons that're actually kinda worthless (Save for the Ancient Arrows, those are so overpowered I'm just not even gonna talk about them) except against Guardians. See what I mean? Killing Guardians gives you materials that can be made into armor and weapons that make it easier for you to kill more Guardians. Now, Breath of the Wild is open-world, which means that you can go confront Ganon at any time. So you don't need any specific weapons or armor. Matter of fact, on my first play-through I just rammed into the castle with a Woodcutter's Axe and a Pot Lid. That being said, if there was a specific item you need to fight Ganon, it'd likely either be the Master Sword or something you get from Guardians. But that isn't the case. You don't need any specific items. So, theoretically, you can play through Breath of the Wild without encountering a single Guardian! But emphasis on THEORETICALLY. Guardians are all over the place (I just stopped playing because 2 Guardians swarmed me in the middle of Akkala [Also, why is it always Akkala?] and annihilated me), and it's pretty hard to do much of anything important without running into at least one of these murderous robot spiders. Guardians are painful, annoying, and sometimes just...stupid. Seriously, one of them decided it would be a good idea to run into a canyon because I was on the other side. There's little benefit to killing them, and the only benefits you get are weapons that make it easier for you to kill more of them. Thank you for coming to my TED talk. No seriously thanks for listening to me rant about Guardians XD
