This is for a project for school, in which, for valentines day, we can do a creative presentation about some type of love. Being me, I decided to do an animatic about cats. I've always associated this song with parental love and figured it was high time I illustrated it as such. The main two characters in here are Shadow and Laurel, with a random other cat making a cameo in the first "make you shine" scene to show how proud Laurel is of her adoptive son learning how to make friends :3 I really wish I could have done more of the song but it's 9:45 and the project's due tomorrow. Maybe someday I'll finish more of it-- I have a really cute idea for the second verse involving Laurel sending a paper boat down a raingutter and little baby Shadow being all entranced by it.
