Recently it has been confirmed by Hasbro, for better or for worse, that Season 9 will be the final season of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic (G4). It has also been confirmed that in 2020, G5 will be aired and in 2021 the second MLP movie will be aired along with G5's second season. We will all miss G4, (Most of us will at least) but it is best for the show to end on an appreciable note and I am sure G5 could be a fine turning point. As nostalgic as I am, I am excited for the future to come for the show. RIP MLP:FiM G4 2010-2019.
