click on "customize" to change things around. to change your nickname, you will have to go to "controls" WARNING: naughty character names can and will result in a ban. if i have to ban too many people, i will have to start whitelisting nicknames (you can only use nicknames in a certain list). if you used a naughty nickname and got reported in the comments, i can easily check cloud variable history for the nickname you used and if it was naughty.
