(Spoilers for avatar are down below so if you haven't watched avatar: the last air bender season 2 I advise you don't read it) Fire Drills are drills made by the fire nation to get into Ba Sing Se so they can rule all of the Nations and make sure none of the other nations try to defeat them or whatever. The first ever drill made by the Nation was the one where Princess Azula tried to get into Ba Sing Se with her friends Mai and Ty Lee. The drill failed but they were able to get inside the walls dressed as FAN girls of the Avatar Kyoshi.
